Umar Akmal has a reason to celebrate other than the win against Bangladesh cricket team on March 4 in Dhaka:

LAHORE-

The traffic warden, with whom he had a scuffle on February 1, on Thursday accepted the apology tendered by Akmal’s father.

The cricketer’s father met with the D.I.G Investigation Zulfiqar Hameed and submitted an unconditional aplogy for improper behaviour on Akmal’s behalf.

Akmal’s father also informed the official that his son could not appear before him to apologise as he was out of country for Asia Cup.

The apology was accepted by the police department and Akmal’s father was assured that the case against his son would be taken back.

    • Don't be so skeptic. It is a common tradition in the Punjab; when an elder apologises/requests on their younger one's behalf, the party has to accept even if there is feud going on.

      • So it is ok to assault , rape, murder and than the elder goes and says sorry – that makes every thing right-grow up !what are laws for?
