PESHAWAR
Kurram Agency Political Agent Riaz Khan Mehsud and three other officials were injured when their vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Thall area of Hangu District on Thursday.
Hangu District Police Officer Hangu Iftikhar Khan said that condition of the officials was out of danger. He said the PA, Assistant Political Agent Akbar Khan and tehsildars Fazal Qadar and Naeem Khan were coming from Parachinar to Hangu when their vehicle was targeted with an IED near Torghar on Thall-Parchinar Road. The vehicle was partially damaged in the bombing. Officials of the Khasadar Force and police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.
