LAHORE-
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday took notice of the sale of donkey meat in Kasur and asked the district and session judge of Kasur to present the report on the issue within seven days, a private news channel reported.
LHC took notice of the incident following a the discovery of more than 200 kilograms of donkey meat in a warehouse during a raid by municipal administration team in Dean Garh area of Kasur.
The raid was led by Assistant Commissioner of Kasur, Shahrukh Niyazi.
The owner of the warehouse, George Masih was arrested.
A case was registered against the accused under the Slaughter Act.
