Punjab Minister for Law and Local Government Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday rejected any possibility of a reaction from Taliban in the province in case of operation against the militants.
During an interview, the minister said that all preventive and security measures have been taken in case of an operation in Waziristan. He said that a search operation was underway in the province to smash the network of terrorists. He rebuffed the impression that there were supporters of Taliban in the province or any fund raising campaign for the militants was being carried out by any quarters. He declined that neither Taliban have any links with seminaries nor they enjoy their support.
