PESHAWAR-
Unidentified men opened fire on a police checkpost in Peshawar’s Yakatoot area, killing a policeman, a private news channel reported on Wednesday.
According to police, Constable Ibn Hassan was on duty was on duty when unknown men on motorcycles opened fire at the checkpost.
Ibn Hassan died on the spot. His body was shifted to a hospital.
Also on Wednesday, one person was killed in a grenade blast in Prang area of Charsadda.
According to sources, the grenade was buried in a pile of sand and blew up while the victim was collecting sand, killing him.
