The Simpsons tweeted an homage to Ellen’s famous group selfie at the Oscars.
The Simpsons paid tribute to Ellen DeGeneres’ most-retweeted photo of all time on Tuesday, recreating the group shot with the actors replaced by their yellow cartoon doppelgängers.
“Oscar® Selfie: A wider view,” the show’s official Twitter tweeted out. Homer Simpson tried to photobomb the shot, but Simpsons Bradley Cooper accidentally kicked him in the head, much to the cartoon’s chagrin.
Academy Award winner Jared Leto, who was pushed out of the frame in the original photo, was elated he was restored to his full visage. “I’ve officially joined @The Simpsons!” he exclaimed on Twitter.
