ISLAMABAD-
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to hold a meeting with his appointed committee holding peace negotiation with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a private news channel reported on Tuesday.
The meeting will be taking place at the PM House and will be attended by all the four members of the committee, namely Irfan Siddiqui, Rahimullah Yousufzai, Rustam Shah Mohmand and Major Amir.
The meeting will involve discussion over the situation after the declaration of a ceasefire from both sides.
The PM is expected to direct the committee members over further proceeding in the dialogue.
Also on Tuesday, PM Sharif will be meeting with the talks with Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and top national security aides and military officials for deliberations over peace talks.
The meetings follow Monday’s deadly attack on Islamabad’s F-8 court that killed 11 people, including a judge and injured 29 others.
TTP has distanced itself from the attack and a splinter group of TTP, Ahrar-ul-Hind has claimed the responsibility for Monday’s suicide and gunfire attacks.
