A driver was killed and his aide injured when militants attacked a NATO container on its way from Peshawar to Afghanistan at Jamrud Khyber Agency on Tuesday.
The official informed that militants, who were riding bikes, ambushed the container and opened indiscriminate fire at the it at Soor Qamar in Jamrud area, after which they succeeded in escaping.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for latest attack.
Supply for NATO troops camping across the border in Afghanistan was resumed couple of days ago when leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf announced an end to protest sit after a period of around three months.
Peshawar High Court, through a decision couple of days back, had declared the PTI sit in illegal.
