Iranian Interior Ministry spokesman has said that they have found the place where the Iranian border guards taken hostage are kept in Pakistan.
Interior Ministry Deputy Hossein Ali Amiri commented on the release of five Iranian border guards taken hostage by Jaysh-al-Adl terrorist group, saying, “The government considers Pakistan as the main responsible body for the lives of Iranian border guards and would not care what the terrorist groups had done,” said the spokesman.
“The lives of these border guards are of prime importance for the government and diplomatic attempts should be directed to saving their lives,” he added.
The spokesman also said that foreign ministry was pursuing the case through Iran’s ambassador to Islamabad. “Pakistan has expressed regrets about what happened and we found their good will in the issue when they promised to address and help in the release of five border guards,” Amiri asserted.
