- IHC’s enquiry committee to start work on F-8 terrorists attack from today
- Islamabad deputy commissioner to submit its enquiry report till Friday
Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi on Tuesday said that two-member enquiry committee headed by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui will start its probe from Wednesday on the tragic incident of firing and suicide bomb blast in F-8 District Courts.
The enquiry committee has issued notices to the top officials of law enforcement agencies and sought report in this regard. He said the committee has also summoned the presidents of high court and district bar associations for assistance.
IHC CJ said this while talking to media after visiting Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) to enquire about the health of the lawyers who had been injured in the terrorist attack at the district court. The committee would submit report with its recommendations after the completion of enquiry before the IHC chief justice for further action in accordance with law, said Imran Sikandri, focal person of the committee.
FINDING WHO AND HOW OF F-8 TERROR ATTACK:
Islamabad chief commissioner Tuesday ordered an enquiry into terrorist attack at F-8 courts and has appointed Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Mujahid Sher Dil as the enquiry officer who will submit the report till Friday.
Terrorists attacked the F-8 district court on Monday, where Additional Session Judge Rifaqat Hussain Awan, a police constable and 11 others were killed and 25 injured.
