Government negotiation committee member Rustam Shah Mohmand on Sunday said that the Taliban should pray for Pakistan’s victory against India in today Asia Cup match. He was talking to media on Sunday where he said that Taliban have declared ceasefire on government demand and now reciprocating to this action, government should also announce ceasefire.
He said that the government committee members would be meeting in a day or two to review the situation.
Rustam Shah said that following the ceasefire, an environment of trust would be created and swapping of prisoners would further strengthen the confidence in each other. He said that the government should demand extension in the period of Taliban ceasefire.
Rustam Shah said that the resolution of issues would take time.
He said foreign militants in tribal areas have three options: surrender, leave the area or assure living peacefully.
