QUETTA
Six militants were shot down during a crossfire in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan on Saturday, a private news channel reported.
According to a Frontier Corps (FC) spokesman, a gun battle erupted between the FC men and armed militants in Darinjan area of Sui, a tehsil of Dera Bugti district.
Six militants were killed in the shootout.
A large quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the militants.
More personnel were called in the area to bring the situation under control, added the spokesperson.
