Three terrorists killed in Bara

PESHAWAR

At least three suspected terrorists were killed and three others injured in an armed clash with security forces in Bara area of Khyber Agency on Friday.
An official said two security personnel were also injured. The official said that security forces spotted a group of militants riding motorcycles in Purdil Abad area.
The officials radioed personnel present at a check post to stop the militants. However, the terrorists opened fired on the security personnel. The firefight between the security personnel and terrorists continued for more than 30 minutes.
The official said three suspects were killed and three others injured. Two injured personnel of security forces have been shifted to a hospital, whereas their condition is stated to be out of danger.
Though officials are reluctant to disclose further details, but tribesmen believe that it was first-ever action against militants involved in deadly terrorist attacks in and around Peshawar.
Meanwhile, Peshawar police arrested 25 accused from Bhana Mari police precincts and seized a huge cache of arms and ammunition from them. On Thursday, the police apprehended several Afghan nationals lacking valid travelling and temporary residential documents.
