Unidentified gunmen abducted three college students in Osta area of Jafferabad on Friday morning.
According to police, gunmen tried to stop a rickshaw at Mohammad Shabbir Khan Road and started firing on resistance by the driver.
He was shifted to a hospital in where succumbed to his wounds. However , the identities of the hostages have not been revealed to the media.
The police have started investigating the incident.
