ICT seized 138,141 bottles of liquor, 19,203 kg of heroin: NA told
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police had seized 138,141 bottles of liquor, 19,203 kg of heroin and 7,865 kg of chars, Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control informed the National Assembly in a written reply, adding that ICT police was vigilant in controlling drug trafficking.
The police had also been monitoring activities of convicts and conducting raids at the residences of previous record holders.
Proper “Nakabandi” of all exit and entry points of Islamabad are held randomly along-with other places at different venues and times while all the SHOs and SDPs were directed to deploy staff at all outlets to check suspicious persons.
