Chinese defence minister, Pakistan naval chief discuss defence cooperation
Chinese Defence Minister Chang Wanquan on Friday held a meeting with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Asif Sandila.
Wanquan and Sandila agreed on further enhancing defence cooperation. Both the sides also discussed naval programs underway.
Also, Sandila said that Pakistan Navy would seek China’s cooperation to increase its defence capacity.
A day earlier, the Chinese defence minister met with his Pakistani counterpart Khawaja Asif at the defence ministry. The Chinese defence minister had also visited the General Headquarters where he was received by Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif.
