ISLAMABAD
Opposition in Senate on Friday staged a walkout over unsatisfactory answers to their questions.
Leader of the Opposition Aitzaz Ahsan said it seemed that the ministers came to the House without preparation. He urged the Senate chairman to refer the unsatisfactory replies to the privileges committee.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aftab Ahmed said the ministers did their homework regarding the questions.
Earlier, over a reply which did not satisfy the questioner, Sughra Imam, Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari referred the issue to the privileges committee.
He also directed the committee chairman to summon the secretary of the ministry/division concerned.
