One such institution has dedicated itself completely to nurturing and developing high achieving students. Roots Millennium Schools-RMS has kept its legacy and rich tradition of achieving academic excellence alive. For the May/June 2013 exams, high achievers list which was published yesterday in Cambridge International Examination UK, students of Roots College International Flagship Millennium Campus I-9/3 gain 21 World and national distinctions.
Academic icons at RMS include a young 9 year old boy named Rai Haris Manzoor. He has successfully passed his Cambridge IGCSE examinations in Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics. This young record-holder is currently pursuing his A’Levels from RMS. Another stellar example is Talal Almas, who in addition to achieving a perfect SAT score of 2400/2400 is a prodigy with five distinctions in the world and in Biology & Psychology top in UK. Other position holders in the Cambridge International Examinations (Levels: IGCSE, AS and A’Levels) are: Urooj ul Huda Kamran (Second in Pakistan; 6 IGCSE Distinctions); Usama Bin Shafqat (Third in Pakistan; 5 IGCSE Distinctions); Faheem Almas (Top in Pakistan; Accounting); Syed Asad Hassan (Top in Pakistan; Biology); and many others.
