ISLAMABAD-
Member of National Assembly Jamshed Dasti on Friday presented empty liquor bottles before the media to support his claims of immoral activities being practised in the Parliament Lodges.
He criticized the Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for refuting his claims, saying that he will present the proofs to the Speaker of the National Assembly on Monday.
He demanded that an inquiry commission should be composed to verify his claims.
On Thursday, Dasti had alleged that parliamentarians were involved in drinking, smoking drugs and bringing courtesans in the lodges.
His claims were struck down by many parliamentarians while National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq asked him to submit evidence for his claims.
Earlier today, Khan told the MNAs that the Parliament Lodges are highly guarded with 77 policemen in addition to several intelligence officials assigned at the duty.
The interior minister also said that around 23 cameras were also installed in the buildings and so such activities cannot be carried out.
“If honourable member (Dasti) has any specific detail or evidence about any specific incident, then I am still ready to investigate the matter,” he said.
He seem crazy. As it should be matter of National Assembly.
