Admiral William McRaven, the person leading the Abbotabad Operation against Osama Bin Laden, has said that the leadership of Al-Qaeda has weakened in Pakistan however they can be active after the US forces pull out of Afghanistan, a private news channel reported.
According to a foreign news agency, Admiral William McRaven told the Armed Service Committee of the Congress that there is a chance of Al-Qaeda getting re-active in Afghanistan after the US forces withdraw from the region.
“The threat of Al-Qaeda will remain in tribal areas of Pakistan and Nothern areas of Afghanistan such as Kunar and Nooristan”, he said.
McRaven further briefed the committee that the central leadership of the terrorist organisation has become weak to a huge extent whereas its linked groups are active in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Northern Africa.
Its going to happen. AlQaida is not dead but injured deeply. They are crazy people and would be alive for next many years. Killing them is the only solution and never be allowed to get win either morally or otherwise. Than their ideologically supporters will change their mind and and advise them to withdrow terrior way out of the target. This is slow and long process but seems result oriented.
