PAF has an air of combat readiness about it

“PAF is committed to maintaining combat readiness in pursuit of the assigned mission while ensuring judicious use of resources and preservation of assets,” said the air chief while addressing PAF Annual Safety Review for the year-2013 at Air Headquarters, Islamabad.

The review was presided over by Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force and was attended by principal staff officers, regional commanders and the supervisors from the field.

Addressing the audience, the air chief said, “There is complete synergy amongst the supervisors at Air Headquarters and field commanders. We in PAF take pride in quality training which has been the hallmark of Pakistan Air Force ever since its inception. The entire air force is training to conduct day and night operations.”

The Annual Safety Review is a routine activity during which review of operational activities is carried out. The forum is also used to carry out an in depth study of the standards of flight and ground safety in PAF.
