Rawalpindi EDO suspends 10 teachers for being absent from work
Rawalpindi Education EDO Qazi Zahoorul Haq conducted raids in Govt Boys High Chakri, Govt Girls High School Chakri, Govt Boys High School Mial and Govt Boys High School Karahi to check the attendance of teachers.
The raids were carried out as per directives of the Punjab chief minister to ensure presence of the teachers in the schools.
During the checking of attendance registers, 10 teachers were found absent in 4 schools and were suspended from service on the spot.
Show cause notices have been issued to the heads of these schools and they have been directed to explain their position. The raids will continue till the next month.
