Chief of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Thursday demanded that the religious scholars of Pakistan should issue a decree on the statement of Jamat e Islami Chief Munawwar Hassan over the historic battle of Karbala.
The JI chief had previously termed Karbala as a battle between two companions of the Holy Propeht (PBUH), claiming that he cannot say who among Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and Yazeed fought on principle.
His statement drew severe criticism from all religious groups and general public.
The MQM chief asked the religious scholars to issue a diktat on the JI leader’s statement to clarify what Munawwar would be called after slandering a sacred event of the Islamic history.

This man is being pushed to do something to totally commit Armed Forces to internal security and anti terror duties. He gets such pushes when he does not "do more". He then firstly harps on fake threats to his life, which is a joke and when his arm is twisted unbearably,he calls upon the Army do follow his silly slogans. Pick up any newspaper of last couple of years and you will find that this is a relapse.
Apparently Munawar has some memory problem. I remember fairly well at least 40 years ago someone asked Abul Aala Maudoodi regarding this tragedy. His response was, may god decide the future of those people with Yazid who think Yazid was right. I am sorry, I do not remember the publication & exact timings of this answer.
Obviosly munawar is not an muslim, he is probably working for anti muslim organisation. The words he speak about our heroes who gave their lives in the battlefield with the heavens buigal playing in the background, yet this munawar munhoos words are coming not in buigal sound but fart sound, it seems evrytime he opens his mouth but the words cant come out and releases off his bottom. LOL
