Two cases of swine flu were reported from two separate areas of Punjab on Wednesday.
According to reports, both the affected were women and were admitted to Nishtar Hospital Multan, and are under treatment.
The patients were identified as 25-year-old Farah Abrar, resident of Taunsa Sharif, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rubina, hailing from Multan.
According to the medical superintendent of Nishtar Hospital, Dr Ashiq, the disease was detected among both women and the samples were sent to Punjab Health Department.
