In wake of security concerns, a decision has been taken to keep an eye on student hostels in the city.
Monitoring and scrutiny of the Bachelors hostels will be got conducted secretly. An intelligence agency operating under Punjab government is being assigned to collect the statistics of the these hostels.
Sources said that movement of suspected persons has been witnessed in these Bachelors hostels. In order to counter terror related acts, district government Rawalpindi has decided to carry out survey and scrutiny of all the Bachelors hostels functioning in Rawalpindi city.
Sources said that the district administration was informed after Raja Bazaar tragedy that Taliban can stay in these hostels.
