The ameer of the banned TTP, Mullah Fazlullah has said his organisation was prepared for serious dialogue, but the government will have to take the first step.
According to a report on Tuesday, Fazlullah said if the government took one step, the TTP would take two steps to begin the dialogue. He said the TTP was aware of those who were killing their comrades but was silent in the interest of the country.
He alleged that at first, one of their partner was targeted and killed in Islamabad and later it spread to other parts of the country “so that the Mujahideen start fighting each other”, adding that the TTP were ready for dialogue despite such provocations.
He said the Western powers were afraid of Jihad and wanted to pit the Jihadist forces in the Islamic world against each other.
Fazlullah was of the opinion that the Ummah was passing through a difficult time and non-Islamic powers were trying to create divisions among the Mujahideen through their agents.
