Four coal miners were burnt to death as fire erupted in a coalmine on Monday.
Police said that the fire erupted after a blast due to accumulation of gas in the coalmine of Dara Adamkhel.
Due to the fire, four coalminers hailing from Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were scorched and died on the spot.
The deceased included Badshah Khan, Sardar Badshah, Rasool Khan and Feroz Shah.
The bodies were shifted to their native villages in Shangla where they were laid to rest. Large number of people including the family, relatives and dwellers of the area attended the funeral prayers.
