Militants kidnapped another government employee in the troubled Kurram Agency on Saturday.
Sources said that armed men abducted 40-year-old Saddique Hussain Touri, an employee of veterinary hospital from Ali Zai area in Lower Kurram Agency and shifted him to an undisclosed location.
The kidnappers have not yet contacted the family of the abducted government employee.
Some four-days ago, a school teacher named Muntazir Hussain was kidnapped and abductors had demanded Rs30 million for his release.
Another kidnapped person identified as Ramzan was released after paying Rs1.5 million ransom money a couple of days ago.
The tribal elders of Kurram Agency have expressed grave concerns over the surge in incidents of kidnapping for ransom. They demanded of the government for protection to the general public and the recovery of the abducted government employees.
