A stunt man and gynmast has become the first in the world to run a complete 360 degrees loop-the-loop.
Damien Walters and scientists from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT in Boston spent four months planning with the gravity-defying feat.
They built a 10ft high Loop the Loop and calculated that it should be possible to complete the stunt if he ran at a constant velocity of 8.65mph around the 360 degrees track.
And, after many practice runs made less painful with the use of strategically placed mats, he eventually completed the loop.
