According to FIA officials, the exchange was established in a market near Mansoora and it was operating through an international satellite. FIA officials told that the exchange was set up by acquiring a network connection from Dubai via satellite, which was traced out by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
It was further reported that the owner of the exchange Ataur Rehman was a software engineer by profession, who had also worked in Europe and Canada.
FIA team also confiscated hundreds of sim-cards and other technical equipment, whereas it was told that further information about the accused will be revealed after the call records were checked completely.
