President, PM condole ARY chairman’s death

Chairman ARY group Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob passed away Friday in London. He was 69. He died peacefully, surrounded by family. Yaqoob was a most admired and revered figure the world over.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef sent condolence messages following the death of Abdul Razzaq on Friday, while Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and PCB Chairman Najam sethi, Governor Balochistan Abdul Malik Baloch, Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad, Chief Minister KPK Pervaiz Khattak also sent condolence messages.

Abdul Razzak was an eminent personality whose unconditional services for his beloved country were second to none, said Sindh Governor Eshrat-ul-Ebad.

“Our prayers are with ARY’s family in particular and we hope that they will find courage and solace to overcome their grief during this period of deep sorrow,” said former cricketer Javed Miandad.

One of the greatest of men, his legacy will live on and inspire generations to come,” said Abid Sher Ali, Minister for Water and Power.

“I’m heartbroken to hear about Yaqoob’s death. I would like to express my condolences to the bereaved family members of the deceased,” said Abdul Karim Dheedi. MQM rabta committee members, media personalities and social activists also posted tributes on their twitter pages.
