Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has stated that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) supports military operation in North Waziristan.
Talking to media outside the Sindh Assembly, Sharjeel Memon said terrorists had become a menace for the country, adding that action should be taken against them. He said the entire nation was with the army and the Pakistan air force. The minister further said that police had good coordination with Rangers and that reshuffle in police would be injustice. The minister lauded the services of the Sindh police saying it did a great job in maintaining law and order in the city.
Memon appreciated the role of the police for foiling a terror plot and seizing an explosive filled truck from Mauripur area of the city. The minister said changes in the police department were possible but not in the case of Karachi.
Commenting over PML-F’s joining the Sindh government, Memon said he did not know about it.
