Acting Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) director general (DG) Professor Akhtar Mehmood Malik refused to accept reinstatement orders of DG Dr Shahnaz Riaz.
Dr Shahnaz Riaz said that establishment division reinstated her as FDE DG; however, the acting DG Professor Akhtar Mehmood Malik and his staff are not accepting the reinstatement orders and not allowed to enter in her office.
However, when Professor Malik was contacted, Malik said he did not receive any order regarding reinstatement of Dr Shahnaz Riaz.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) on Thursday removed the chief of the body overseeing educational institutions in the capital for the second time.
FDE DG Dr Shahnaz Riaz has been replaced by Federal Government Colleges Director Akhtar Mehmood Malik who was appointed as an acting head.
