Pakistan denies sending troops to Saudi Arabia

Pakistan Foreign Office has denied reports that large scale troops being sent to Saudi Arabia.

Addressing weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said Pakistan was already facing threats at eastern and western borders, and couldn’t afford sending large scale troops to Saudi Arabia, adding that there was no change in country’s Syria policy.

Responding to a question, she said she had no knowledge about any suggestion, put forward by Pakistan, seeking delay of western troops from Afghanistan.

To another question, she said probe underway to ascertain as to when and where the killings of FC personnel took place, and if necessary, Kabul would be contacted too.

  1. Stupid fools, recall reservists and raise a division and provide troops to KSA. Mind you India may grab the opportunity.
