A gas pipeline exploded on Wednesday due to gas leakage in Mir Kosh villafe of Ghotki and killed two people, a private news channel reported.
According to the report, a 36-inch gas pipeline caught fire in the wee hours of Wednesday as a result of gas leakage.
The exploding fire killed two people and injured two others.
The wounded were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Police sources have ruled out the possibility of a terrorist act responsible for the event, terming it an accident.
The explosion led to a suspension of gas supply to various parts of Punjab.
Although Washington will continue quietly arm-twisting the two sides a little longer, President Barack Obama is reported to be worried that US diplomacy is starting to appear “desperate”.
