Gabol, Daultana quarrel during NA standing committee meeting

Tehmina Daultana, MNA belonging to the PML-N and MQM’s Nabeel Gabol on Wednesday indulged in a quarrel during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior.

The parliamentarians criticised each other’s party heads hurling hot words and leveling accusations at each other during a discussion on the law and order situation. Daultana was of the view that the MQM was insisting on emergency for political gains, while Gabol insisted that an emergency should be imposed in the country in view of the prevailing law and order situation.

He went on to say that the “government should wear bangles and keep itself indulged in a one-sided dialogue, while terrorists will continue targeting citizens on the other side”.

Gabol mocked the PML-N MNA saying Nawaz Sharif had run away from the country a decade ago, to which Daultana retorted that Altaf Hussain had also been away from the country and questioned why he hadn’t returned to the country still.
