Seven more killed in recent attacks in Baghdad

BAGHDAD-

At least seven people were killed on Tuesday in three car bombings in Baghdad, officials have said.

Two car bombings hit the southern Baya region of Baghdad, killing at least five people.

Another attack in the city killed two more people.

A total of 13 people were injured in the bombing series.

The attacks follow Monday’s lethal series of four car bombings in the city that killed at least 16 persons.

According to figures recorded by a foreign news agency, more than 470 people have been killed in February, with over 1,450 killings since January.
