PESHAWAR-
Unidentified militants fired on a security forces check post in South Waziristan, killing one security official.
According to sources, soldier Mehrab, from Sanghar, was martyred in the attack on a check post in Ladha, a subdivision of SW at 11:00pm on Monday.
The attack follows killing of 23 paramilitaries on Sunday. They had been abducted by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) four years ago near the border of Afghanistan.
TTP claimed responsibility for the killings.
