Shahbaz suspends 4 SHOs, 2 DSPs for showing negligence on kite flying violation

If any loss of human life occurred due to string of kite, the administration concerned and police would be held accountable, said Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif while taking serious notice of banned kite-flying practice in various parts of the city suspended four SHOs and transferred two DSPs on Tuesday.

Shahbaz Sharif ordered implementation of ban on kite-flying in the province and said that loss of human life would not be allowed at any cost.

The chief minister directed the administration and the police of all the districts in Punjab to constitute special teams and take action against violators of the ban.

He ordered suspension of Mughalpura Station House Officer (SHO) Hasnain Ali, Shalimar SHO Shabbir Awan, Badami Bagh SHO Mohammed Ashfaq and Barki SHO Ghulam Abbas and transferred DSPs of Mughalpura and Badami Bagh.
