  1. OMG, how can a married couple have illicit relations with each other ? If they are married to each other and they sleep together, this is a perfectly normal and pious act. How does this become ILLICIT ?????

    • if a married men act some sextual intercourse with a women other than his wife. or married women involved in same illicit relationship is called zannah or adultery. In said case they were not married to eachother.

      • Are you living on Mars or what? They were clearly married as mentioned. And have you ever tried to research Quran and Islam? Nikah, which we perform nowadays had no signs in Primitive Islam… Nikah or marriage means if the couple loves each other and people are witness to it. People like you, without doing research on your own religion, and agreeing to Mullahs, fall in Traps of Zanah and Adultrey. The only form of sex which Islam forbids is Rape. Consentual sex, if the couple love each other and people bear witness to their relationship, is always allowed. Get some books of History of Islam and then see if such Fatwas make any sense or not.

        • what?explain it i didnt get you? where is it mentioned that do love before marriage and do love without marrying each other

  2. oh dear, try to understand they have married separately with the other partners but have illicit relations that is why they stoned both of them, but it is still illegal and condemnable acts because every human has his/her free will and love cannot be bounded by the human made marriages and I strongly opposed marriage structure in asia especially in India and Pakistan because there are many fake cases on the names of marriages such dowry case, 498A and DV Acts on the names of marriages, so man and woman cannot be happy without their heart together if they even married to each other but sometimes marriages were go wrong and in lieu many fake cases arises, so law making agencies can rethink upon this marriage procedure in India to stop humiliation of men on the name of women rights in India especially

  3. because there are several condemnable law against men in India and situation of men in India is very critically abused on the hands of women as in India women behave like terrorists and no body shall have right to complain against women in India because women in India has upper hand and in india laws are gender bious and men's situation in India is like begger so please amend these horrible laws on the basis of single particular rape case in New Delhi during December 2012, otherwise many innocent men in India continue living in a very dangerous situation and will continue face humiliation on the basis of women rights in India, so to save integrity and properity of India, please wake up as early as possible and amend horrible marriage laws in India

  4. The 2 muftis and the other five must meet with the similar fate, or better thrown in a cage filled with hungry wild hounds. This is the only way to teach a lesson to others.

  5. Barbarians are still alive in Pakistan…how can people live like it is the 7 th century in the 21st century?…the rest of the world has made 1400"years of progress and these people are still in the Stone Age?

    • The Stone age we are living in extends over to only 10% of the population i.e. Balochistan's total Population is around 0.8 Million which is the largest province of Pakistan i.e. 44% of the total land. Whereas, the total population of Pakistan exceeds 180 Million and the ratio of these incidents is 0.0044 adding other population where these incidents take place in 1.8 Million which makes the ratio of 0.014 i.e. approximately 1/100 cases of Honour Killing or Extra Judicial Murder. So, lets just not claim that Pakistan is in stone age. Actions of a few cannot define Everyone.

      • Do you live in Pakistan or pretending as a Pakistan? You think that Honor killing is not present in Sindh, KP and Punjab???? What about Karo Kari? What about targetting people and killing them on the name of religion? Doesnt it happen in all the provinces? Your biggest ethno militant groups in Punjab (largest province by Population)… Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi aren''t Pakistan my friend. Try to get out and see reality.

  6. How odd it looks at face value that this stoning to death is still being exercised in Southeast Asian countries, but no one had the guts to take a stand and say categorically that though it is in line with the doctrine of faith but does not look compatible with the modern societies and current time. It is permissible to have an intimate relationship with slave women, with or without their consent, but a male and female, if involved in lovee and found guilty of having intimate relations, they would be stoned to death.

Yes, we as Muslim are intransigent, conducive and very conservative to learn and take corrective measure; do ijtihad and amend the laws making it lenient to eradicate adultery from society, but not to punish the accused by despicable act of stoning. Why don’t these custodian of faith condemn polygamy, misuse of slaves, blasphemy, the requirement of 4 male witnesses who rather than stopping a rape in progress, just watch and enjoy and at the end be crowned witnesses to punish the victim—shame and disgrace.

This heinous crime needs to be stopped and it is your moral duty and all those on recipient list, to write on this subject and forward to various news media to propagate the message for rectification. When you write, send a copy in advance. The problem I see, seems to be a lack of courage to write on issues like this. It serves no purpose to differ, but remain quiet spectators.
