Ghazi murder case: Court summons Musharraf on March 1

The additional session judge of Islamabad High Court Saturday summoned accused in Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case, former president Pervez Musharraf on March 1.

The judge heard the Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case on Saturday, during which the lawyer representing Musharraf submitted the request to provide exemption to the accused from the day’s hearing.

The court admitted the plea and approved it while ordering him to appear on March 1.

Instead of Ilyas Siddiqui, his the retired general’s former attorney, Akhtar Shah appeared in the court and submitted his power of attorney to represent Pervez Musharraf in the case.

The court also instructed the police to submit a new challaan of Abdul Rasheed Ghazi murder case before the next hearing.
