KARACHI-
Two Rangers personnel were injured on Friday in an explosion near their vehicle in Qayyumabad area of Karachi, a private news channel reported.
According to a Rangers’ spokesman, the explosion had targeted a wing commander of the force who was travelling in the vehicle
The wounded were shifted to PNS Shifa hospital for treatment.
The spokesperson added that body parts were discovered the site of explosion, suggesting that a suicide bomber had carried out the attack.
The body parts were sent to a hospital for identification.
The targeted vehicle was partially damaged in the blast.
Security personnel arrived at the blast site, cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.
