Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has announced compensation of Rs2 million each for the policemen who lost their lives and Rs0.2 million for those injured in a bomb blast near Razzaqabad police training center.
He also sought report of the blast from Sindh Inspector General (IG) Shahid Nadeem Baloch and vowed that culprits of the incident would be brought to book.
He directed the police high-ups to continue targeted operation against criminals.
He maintained that the operation would only be ended once all criminals were eliminated. Shah also directed for provision of better medical facility to the injured persons.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said terrorists were being apprehended in large numbers and in its retaliation police officials were being targeted. The minister said attack on police convoy was a coward activity. Criminals can never terrify police and Rangers, he added.
