PM, COAS leave for Turkey

ISLAMABAD-

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday left for Turkey on a three-day visit to attend the Pakistan-Afghan-Turkey Trilateral Summit in Ankara.

He will be meeting the Turkish President Abdullah Gul‚ Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
Meetings with the heads of major Turkish companies are also scheduled for the visit.

Meanwhile, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Shareef has left for a two-day official visit to Turkey to take part in the trilateral summit.

According to an ISPR Spokesman, the COAS will also hold bilateral meetings with Turkish Chief of General Staff (CGS) and Land Forces Commander.
