LPG price up by Rs5/kg

Marketing companies Wednesday increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by five rupees per kilogram.

With the surge in the LPG price, domestic gas cylinder price has increased by Rs60 and commercial cylinder by Rs240.

LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar said the price of LPG has been raised because of an increase witnessed in the international market.

After this increase, the LPG price in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar has reached Rs115/kg while in mountainous areas it has mounted to Rs135/kg.

  1. State-run Saudi Aramco has cut its March contract price for propane to $855 a tonne, down $115 from the February level. Why we still have lpg price up, it should be down %10.
