A lover couple was injured as the two jumped from a moving train after being chased by the family of the girl.
Police sources said that a youngster and a girl hailing from Harrapa area of Sahiwal district entered into a love marriage without taking their families into confidence.
The couple was escaping the area by train as their love marriage was not approved by their family members and but some men from girl’s family started chasing them.
To escape from the chasers, both the man and his wife jumped from the door of the moving train and injured themselves critically in the process.
The injured love birds were shifted to a hospital where their condition was stated to be critical according to hospital sources.
