Five killed, 41 suspects arrested today

KARACHI-

Three bodies were found by police on Wednesday in different areas of the metropolis while two gang war suspects were shot dead in crossfire.
Two bodies bearing torture marks were recovered from Memon Goth area of Karachi.
The victims could not be identified. They were shifted to a morgue.

Meanwhile, a strangled body, identified as Rafiq, was recovered from a house situated on Super Highway.
In crossfire between a police team and Lyari gang war suspect, two gangsters –Shan Alias Shani and Arif Billa– were shot dead in Salar Goth locality of Malir.
Two hand-grenades were also recovered from their possession.
Also on Wednesday, 41 suspects were arrested in a targeted operation by the Rangers in Pathan Colony.
About 3,000 Rangers’ personnel, including females, took part in the operation during which entry and exit points of the area were also sealed.
