The security forces in North Waziristan conducted an operation in retaliation to the Monday killings of six personnel and killed one terrorist and arrested four on Tuesday.
On Monday six security men and an officer were injured in two attacks in Datakhel area of North Waziristan Agency, government sources said.
A roadside bomb exploded near a military truck in Dathakhel near Afghan border in the attack six soldiers was injured. The truck was destroyed in the attack.
A security picket was attacked in another terrorism incident, when militants opened fire at a security picket in Datakhel region.
Pakistan military commanders have pledged to follow a policy of ceasefire during the ongoing peace talks with the militants as per the government’s decision. The military however, vow to retaliate in case the militants attack the security personnel.
