13 including 6 family members of tribal leader killed in Bugti clash

A brutal armed clash between two groups of Bugti tribes in Kashmore left at least 13 people dead and 10 injured on Sunday.

The clash took place between Bugti tribes in a Sindh-Balochsitan tribal village, Imam Bux Marhato, and initially eight people had fallen prey to the fight, however, the death toll has now reached 11.

The deceased include wife, two sons and two daughters of local tribe’s leader Imam Bux.

According to area police, the incident took place around two kilometers off the police station. Weapons of heavy caliber including mortar shells were used during the clash.

Rescue teams struggled to reach the spot due to continuous firing.
