Twin cities commuters perturbed over transporters not following designated routes
The commuters have expressed grave concerns over non-completion of routes by public transport plying between twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The commuters belonging to Rawalpindi said that the transporters do not pick the passengers going to Islamabad and end their route at Faizabad. They said that they have to pay double fare to reach the federal capital. They said that the regional transport authority and traffic police have failed to bound the transporters to complete their routes.
The passengers said that office goers and students have to suffer due to the attitude of the transporters as they get late from their destinations.
The commuters demanded of the RTA and traffic police to take action against the transporters involved in non-completion of the routes and cancel their route permits, besides imposing fines.
Ethiopia is a popular African destination, which is known to have 'thirteen months of sun per year', as one of its slogans says.
